Questions a GP asks before the first call

What this is, whether there is anything for you to keep updated, what the agents will never do, and where your deal data lives. Plain answers, and where the answer is a weaker promise it is written as a weaker promise.

What is an AI deal team?

A staff of AI employees doing the work a firm's analysts and associates do: sourcing, screening inbound, running diligence, writing the case against, drafting letters and watching the portfolio. A firm of twenty, which is you and nineteen of them.

Is there anything for me to keep updated?

No. Nothing here depends on you remembering to log an activity or keep a pipeline current. The seats read the documents as they arrive and produce the work themselves.

You wake to a short list of decisions with the working shown, rather than to a system waiting to be fed.

Who is it for?

Solo GPs and micro funds: firms where the partner is also the analyst, the associate and the person answering inbound.

It is built for the case where hiring is not the answer, either because the fund cannot carry the headcount or because the work is spiky enough that a hire would be idle half the time.

What will the agents never do?

They never decide, and they never send. Every letter, nudge and introduction waits as a draft until you press send.

The fact-checking seat will not even call a figure false: it names the figure, says where it looked, and asks.

Where does my deal data live?

Every firm gets its own instance. On your own server, we cannot read your pipeline, because you own the database and the deployment.

On ours, a confidentiality agreement says we will not. That is a weaker promise than the first one and it is written as a weaker promise, because a firm making this choice deserves to know which of the two it is buying.

How do I start?

Ask for a seat on the front door. The first cohort is small on purpose, and we would rather set up a handful of firms properly than a hundred badly.

What can the agents do?

They read, research, check, argue, forecast, record and draft. Nineteen seats cover sourcing, the deal team, the case against, legal review, capital and LP work, and the portfolio.

Each seat is licensed on its own, so a firm that wants sourcing and diligence pays for sourcing and diligence.

What do the AI providers see?

The seats reason using commercial models, so the material a seat reads is sent to a model provider to be read.

On a hosted room that runs through our provider account; on a dedicated room a firm can hold its own key, so the work is on its own account.

What does it cost?

Seats are licensed one at a time and the plans are bundles of them, so the price depends on which seats you would use and whether you want the room on your own infrastructure.

Figures are not published yet. Ask for a seat and we will tell you what it costs for a firm your size.
